We actually have a commercial popcorn maker where I work. The the official popcorn maker guy usually burns a batch a few times a week.

We just got a new microwave in our break room so several people burned some last weekend because they didn't know it was better than the last one. I kind of like that burnt popcorn smell!

About once a week. The fire department hates that crap! Ooooh man do they hate that crap! We get lectures and death by power point for people who "cook" popcorn in the wave.

popcorn isnt huge at my workplace, but 75% of those who do eat popcorn over here end up burning it
