You present an interesting proposition about contributing factors. Most people see statistics like that and automatically assume the relationship between the precursor and the outcome. You, of course, do not... :) Interestingly, I reviewed the reported data for the state I live in. They have one of the highest average IQ's, are fairly high in reported religiosity (68), have low crime rates, but are the least generous. That certainly reflects my own observations and is in direct contrast to Christian teaching about caring for those less fortunate. However, I would attribute low crime and low generosity to small rural communities where economics are tough, and there's no living down a criminal history, no anonymity. Religiousity is more of a social issue in some places, like where I llive. Where showing up to church is critical for social acceptance and, therefore, economic survival. I think I saw more of a correlation between religiousity and poverty. Poverty could well be the cause of higher crime rates, and the cause of the religiousity, as well. That might explain why economicly exploitive republicans love fundamentalist religions. Stimulating question, thanks Laptop! It was my first "thinker" of the day!

grudge holding, or holding a resentment is a frame of mind. Root word for resentment is "resontari"which basically means to replay a experience over and over in your mind that has caused you to have a "bad feeling" See below

it's a way of not going forwards...and staying very immature....get two jobs in place of just one, work on a portfolio for a grand you could open up an account on Scottrade...learn how to make money not muckraking, which means talking about other people or just stirring up strife.....think, money in the bank....green....keep going...good luck
