I'm a 17 year old high school graduate. I just recently started really paying attention to fashion and style but now I'm lost. What is appropiate for a college student's wardrobe without being too trendy? I mean I want to still look 17 but like a more mature 17 .

Classically styled blue jeans -not too bedazzled, Tees, classic sweaters (v neck cowl neck and turtle neck), a hoodie or two. As you move from high-school into college years you leave behind ill fitting clothes and into more classic styles and fit. Simple basic classic pieces are best as you will get the most use and longevity from them.

A general idea: just jeans and a trendy shirt. But of course, college is all about becoming your own person. So, I say wear what makes you feel comfortable and patches your personality.

No matter what your age I would suggest sticking to the classics, and adding a few age appropriate trendy pieces. You never what to do a trend from head to toe. Buying classic pieces will keep you from having to buy all new clothes every year!
