Mamma Mia is a very fun show that I've watched 3 times! It's one of the few shows that you leave in a good mood. The music is catchy and the story is captivating. An excellent choice. However, if you mom is turning 60, she may like something a little more traditional, like "Phantom of the Opera," which is a grand production scaled down for Vegas. Excellent music and classic story. A little more "heavy" than "Mamma Mia" but well worth watching. Cirque Du Soleil shows like Mystere are great but more of "eye candy" that is visually stimulating but not much story involved. I would go with the "Broadway" - like musicals.

Love or any Cirque show is good. I was thinking Mamma Mia was closing-but I am not for sure. The Rick Thomas afternoon magic show is cheap and always good.

Just about any of the Cirque shows are great! Mystere' I loved. O is fantastic. I don't know about KA. I've heard GREAT things about Love - if she enjoys the Beatles. I would avoid Zumanity - my boss went to see it, and she said it was so vulgar she was offended. (Which, for my boss to say that, it has to border on porn because next to nothing offends her.)
Another one to consider - just for sheer wackyness - is Blue Man Group. My parents have a nutty sense of humor and would get a kick out of it.

Celine Dion at Caesars is the best and I'm not even a Celine fan!! Celine, her musicians, and dancers put on a fantastic show. The best seats are in the middle. Don't sit too close or you miss all the action and set design on stage. Take her to that, truly!

I would do something different, Cirque can be too much if your girlfriend doesn't enjoy "artsy" shows. Blue Man Group and Lance Burton, and Mamma Mia are good shows. I'm a former resident, if Stomp is still in town, that is great too!!!!!

i really really recommend taking her to see either O or Celine....i've seen celine 3 times and every time i leave i'm in awe. the theatre is so big but still very intimate. literally the whole time through the show you'd be thinking to yourself on how her singing live sounds exactly like it was on a cd, it's that good! the woman is running and singing at the same time and still doesnt sound out of breath for god's sake! =)

Any of the Cirque de Soleil shows are amazing, also try out the Blue Man Group. When I saw it, it was at the Luxor, but I don't know if its still there or if its moved. But none the less, that show was AMAZING!
