The spelling - I know that sounds very patronizing, but it's true.

I used to live on Gray Street. Most of the time I see the color spelled grey. I have asked many times and the answer I get is - If you are referring to the color, it doesn't really matter. The spelling only matters when Grey/Gray is a name. Then you MUST spell it correctly.

GrEy is a europeon spelling that has become popular in the US. Unfortunataly the Europeons spell "iz" words with "is", like organised instead of organized. Now I see US spelling the same words with "is".

Same meaning different spelling. Sort of like my last name Li and Lee. We have the same Chinese family last name but spell differently like Bruce Lee and Jet Li.
