I would look at the nVidia GeForce 6600 GT or 6800 GS, there are different manufacturers and different amounts of memory on the boards (between 128 MB and 512 MB) and the prices range between $80 and $150. That will have all the pixel and vertex shaders you need and will support DirectX 9.0c.

Here's a start - PC World's Top 5 Value Graphics Cards. You will have to go to the manufacturer's sites to see if you can get the recommended chipsets with an AGP interface. Still, with the new games, you can easily spend 10 times $100 for top performance so don't expect miracles.

Save your money and get a higher end card. The Nvidia 7800 series are decent cards but not top of the line. The newest GeForce 8800 series cards are Direct X 10 compliant but they are expensive. Most of the cards I've seen are over $600.
But for $100 about the best you can get is a Leadtek PX7600GS TDH GeForce 7600GS 256MB. You can find this card at NewEgg on the link below.

This is not a great card but it will be better than what you have.

For the new games you need to spend a little more than $100. The best agp cards are the Radeon x800 series.

nvidia is a good brand for video cards. You probably just need a card with more memory, like 256MB or even 512MB.
Check the websites for special offers. Try places like slickdeals.net or spoofee.com.
