she wasn't feeling good. heartburn. indigestion. just discomfort. when her husband finally convinced her to go to the e.r. it was too late - she had a massive heart attack in the e.r. and was gone.
she didn't do any great deeds to save the world, to end hunger, or poverty, she didn't win nobel or peace prize. hell, she didn't even win a 'best mother' award.
but she was a good and kind woman. she fed the neighborhood kids who were hungry. she recycled long before it was the 'thing to do'. she passed her children's clothes on to those who were in need. she baked cookies for the school bake sale. she volunteered at the school, the senior centre, and ferried all the kids on the block to and from school daily leaving the other mothers free to do whatever. whenever sudden summer thunder storms hit, it was her house all the kids ran to for shelter.
i miss her and i just wanted to tell the world.......she was loved, she is missed, and she will always be remembered.

I am very sorry to hear that. Get a really nice card and write her children a letter letting them know how important their mother was to you. They will cherish it forever.

I'm sorry to hear about that. Maybe you could plant a tree in the neighborhood or at the school in her memory.
