Not only did Clinton not go to the UN before bombing the Serbs, he didn't even ask Congress's permission.

It's all politics. Democrats use Iraq to attack Bush. However, it hurts America and emboldes the enemy. Republicans play a lot of politics too, but they don't let it cross over into Foriegn Affairs.

What was with Kerry and Dodd visiting the dictator of Syria? Foriegn relations is the job of the executive department. If Bush had any cojones, he would have made more of a skint about it.

Yes, liberals were supportive of the bombings in Europe because we were saving Muslims from being slaughtered by Christians and the bombings in the Middle East were OK because they were timed so as to not to kill anyone ( actually one man was killed but it was ok because he was just a janitor ). Liberals are always supportive of using the military to achieve objectives that make them feel better about themselves.

Libs were very much in favor of our entry into the Balkan conflict since they viewed the killing of Muslims as genocide. Funny how they can't quite make that connection to Sadam killing Shites and Kurds in Iraq though. I guess they could be for that if it were a Democratic president that took Sadam down. Just look at the Dafur situation. Most Libs want the US in the middle of that one.

I constantly ask your self why liberals are accused of attempting to establish a "large brother" government to "micro-handle" our lives. we are no longer people who insist that every person has to communicate English, that no one can step on an American flag, or that youngsters ought to recite a on a daily basis loyalty oath. we are no longer people who say instructors can not communicate approximately delivery administration, and that the stable state faith must be a area of the college curriculum.

No, I do not remember supporting those operations or not. In fact, I do not think I made too much of it since it was a limited engagement that could be quickly gotten out of and we had support from the international community. Also, they used air power and naval based missiles putting few Americans at risk. However, I do remember several conservative speaking out against those actions stating that Clinton was fabricating the affairs to boost his popularity at home. So, I guess you can see the differences from today's mess that Bush has gotten us into. Can't you?? Or, are your blinders on??
