Im an ntl cable tv and phone customer in Glasgow, chatting with a friend here on the other side of Glasgow. Our TV channels are not working and when we try to phone any of the ntl office numbers its just a long tone - unobtainable. Does anyone know what's wrong, this is weird!

the offices are just down, the internet is workign though, and it's not just happening in Glasgow, it's happening down here in Cheshire too! Plus, Virgin are taking them over, so that might be another cause!

i'm in Bournemouth and my telly channels have started to disappear too since yesterday, if you press GUIDE on the remote, you can usually find another channel that has the program you want to watch
p.s. i noticed channel 999 said VIRGIN TV- its coming soon
pps i didnt bother phoning NTL cos it takes ages for them to answer anyway

NTL are shite. - have you tried the 150 number (free on NTL landlines).
Virgin are taking them over now by the way.
