It really depends on the situation. I have given hugs to strangers at funerals and weddings.

they tried this on youtube. people held up signs saying "free hugs" sometimes it worked, sometimes it didn't.
personally I would, especially if the stranger looked like the girl in my avatar.

Not really. It's usually because they hugged me first so I was hugging them back. I don't really touch people unless I know it's ok with them.

I did it last week...some guy near my work with a Free hugs sign around his neck. Nothing bad happeneds afterwards or nothing.
