Two things. (1) The machine is under warranty, demand that they come out within a reasonable amount of time. If they don't tell them you're going to contact watchdog or something similar. (2) If the drums’ not turning but the motor is running then the chances are the belt has come off or broken. Easy enough to fix.

If this is going to be your third replacement of a belt make sure that the service man is aware of the situation and the time frame in which it has occurred. He may be able to do something to prevent this from happening again in a short time. It is to your and their benefit if a future failure can be prevented. Dryer belts normally last 5-10 years and it seems that yours is only lasting 1 year at best.

we had the same problem with our tumble dryer I took off the back plate and found that the earth wire that was connected to the drum was loose, I tightened up the screw thus completing the electrical circuit and the problem was solved.
hope this helps .

sounds like the heater, mine not the same make went exactly 1 year after i bought it, luckily we took out the extra 5 year insurance,
same thing happened every year it was the heater, so he put a bigger heater in and said it would last longer then the tumble dryer, this was 3 year ago.if you have extra insurance use it, they wont give you a new one just keep repairing it

Could just need a new belt. How old is it and how much did you pay?Might, too, have been unbalanced. If you over loaded it at any time that might be the case. The repairman should be able to determine if such was the case.

You need a new belt, it will be or should be covered with your warranty.
