The pub landlord is IRONY for Christ's sake. So was Garnett, but thickies thought he was for real, too.

ALF GARNET - was made in the 1970's, back then there were entirely DIFFERENT time (have a look at 'Mind your language')

The Pub Landlord is a mixture of Satire / Observational humour and banter.........

Jade Goody was 'picking on' an Asian woman, who is a guest in the UK - Jade said things through stupidity and aimed directly at her as an insult.

As The Oak says it's irony. What Al Murray and Alf Garnet do is show up racism for what it is. Stupid and ignorant. It's parody. And it's pretty clever and hilarious.
