30N

The force required to expand a spring is F(s)
F(s)=-kx
k - spring constant
x - distance the spring is extended.

F(total)= 4 F(s) if all springs are the same (and they are by condition given)

So the new F(total) is 1/2 of the original since half of them are removed.

F(total new)=F(total)/2=60/2=30N
