My girlfriend suspected that she was pregnant. We both love kids but we are both one year out of college and completely not ready to have a baby. She is supposed to have her period between yesterday and this coming Friday. We had unprotected sex once during New Years weekend She is on the pill and takes it religiosuly, but I didn't use a condom. She took a First Response pregnancy test two times yesterday, and they both came up NOT PREGNANT. Should I trust it???

If she's taking her pills right, then the chances of her getting pregnant are 2 or 3%. Tell her to stop stressing and her period will come.

I would say she is not pregnant many things can effect the cycle. flu, cold medications etc. the stress of worrying about this could cause her to be late. if she uses the pill religiously then there is nothing to worry about, condom not, unless she was on antibiotics that can reduce the effectiveness of the pill, but if for some chance she is pregnant you'll survive there is never a right time to get pregnant if you two love each other you will survive a pregnancy.

If you are worried about it, take her to the Dr. If she does take the pill religiously then there shouldn't be any worries. I don't know how long she has been on the pill..if it is recent then her body may just be getting used to the pill. I have heard in cases where women say they take the pill religiously and then not take it, then they end up pregnant.
I would take her to the Dr. after Friday, if she hasn't got her period yet.

Well, its soon to really take a test. Wait a month like around the last time she had her period or a month after you had sex. If it says your not pregnant in a month, theirs nothing to worry about.

I am pregnant, but tested negative until one week after I missed my period. So, your negative right now isn't really that telling.

However, if she's on the pill and took it properly, she should not be pregnant.

You would normally have to wait until after she has missed her period to really rely on at home test other wise go to a free clinic and get a blood test. Good Luck

my answer would be to go the doctor's and get checked, I think that would be the best answer. Don't fully trust preggnancy test because those are faulty too. And if your religious (i don't know if you are), then just pray and ask God to send you a sign)

Once she is late and the test come negative, trust it. period is prob just late. Wait another week and take it again.
