Most liberals aren't Christian-bashing.

The majority of voters in the last election voted Democratic.

Only 13% of Americans claim to not be religious. And only 6 out of the 535 members of Congress (a little over 1%) claim to not be religious.

For the record, those Congress members are Reps. John Tierney and John Olver of Massachusetts, Earl Blumenauer of Oregon, Neil Abercrombie of Hawaii, Tammy Baldwin of Wisconsin and Mark Udall of Colorado.

And not all non-religious types are Christian-bashers.

There really aren't that many "Christian-bashing liberals"; it's just that many of them are loud.

Take a good hard look... Bill Clinton is a representative of the party that has always supported the African American community. John Kerry is a veteran.

On the other side of the aisle we have a bunch of people who are only willing to tolerate African Americans, were AWOL when they were supposed to be serving (our president), and who happily tell people whatever they want to hear.

Take Mitt Romney, for example. He's come out as one of the most conservative candidates for the GOP's presidential nomination, running mainly on a platform against gay marriage. BUT - in 1994, in an effort to get votes, he spoke to a gay group saying he'd be a champion for GLBT equality that would rival Ted Kennedy!

Nell -
List your sources, please!

Not being a Clinton fan (and certainly I am anti-Moore), I don't care if anyone bashes them...just do it with facts, not innuendo.

It almost sound as if you are a dupe of that overweight (in both ego and physical size) druggie radio talk show dude...whats his name? Limbo? Limburger?

That is total hyperbole, base your question on facts when you cite specific people, not on whimsical nonsense put out by the right wing media machine. Give me one specific example of what you said, you can't can you?? I thought so.
