All the Democrats do is question the Bush administration's policy in Iraq. OK, we get it, you have the majority now. DO SOMETHING. Instead of voting "no confidence" for the new Iraq plan, here's something novel: PROPOSE YOUR OWN PLAN. I am not a Republican, I am not a Democrat. I am a nonpartisan American citizen who honesty doesn't care which side of the aisle has good ideas IF THEY USE THEM. Does anyone else feel the same? Is there any forum in which to express my opinion?

Uh-hm, how about the Iraq Study Group proposal? Or the Levin-Reid Amendment calling for a phased withdrawal?
There are many plans out there being proposed by members of BOTH parties. This should be about America and not party divisions.

The Democrats wasn't the ones that lied to start this war should never have been, it was nothing but Bush lies. How do get the idea that should have a plan , where is Bush's plan he is the one that should come up with a plan, he started it what his plan at that time. He didn't have a plan his plan was to kill Saddam because he said that Saddam tried to assassinate his Dad. It was preemptive war which is breaking the 2nd constitution, which states America doesn't takes arms against another country UNLESS we're struck first, It wasn't by Iraq, it was Ben Laden that had the planes flew into the Twin Towers not Saddam,. he's not trying to find Ben Laden. He went to Iraq on false pretense, let's see his plan, not the Democrats Plan. You Republicans seem to forget who is runs around saying. "I'm the decider", well let him decide this war.

the problem is there are no good options. It is clear to the people, congress, and generals that there will be no military win. More troops even if successful will be temporary. The anger with Bush is that none of this was neccessary and he has been wrong every step of this fiasco! Do you understand now why the world criticizes this president. I am also a independent.

There are several plans from Dems-- you just don't hear about them. A few have written books about their plans-- I think Kucinich (sp?) is one that has written a plan/book on this.

The plans I've heard of vary from descalating/redeploy to other military options.

Do some actual research and you may find something-- You're doing the same thing you accuse dems of doing.

Short of cutting funding, Congress cannot stop Bush from surge or other plans. And cutting funding would be bad solution since it ties the presidents hands and could hurt the soldiers. Dems may want out but their not stupid.

To the guy up above here--> Dems had suggest more troops before because at that point, it may have helped- now, it won't. do you people not know how to think?

Winning is something we will never hear from the Left
This is their plan
Retreat, surrender, cut and run, give up, run away, hide, forfeit, and invite death to Americans
This is and was always the Dem's plan
What else did you expect from surrender monkeys
Did you hear the plan Kerry had in 2004?
I didn't either

I'm am neither party as well-they are both corrupt-just seems Dem's care more about what the people want and Repubs want what better serves their interest instead...I really hope someone comes up with a better plan to get us the hell out of Iraq

I was expressing this last night. It seems so simple to me but I don't get why no one else does. I feel simply this," UNITED WE STAND, DIVIDED WE FALL"! This is true even in a family, marriage and defiantly for any Government. Just get together and agree on something.

The Demos plan WAS to send more troops in. But now that President Bush wants to do that, they are not going to approve the funding. Go figure. Gotta wonder why when the President said failure is not an option last night, the libs sat on their hands?

I agree with you. It's so easy to oppose something without offering an alternative.

The Democrats need to tell us exactly what they propose doing in Iraq.

I guess you could always write or email Nancy Pelosi.
