I'd suggest you do buy from a breeder as opposed to a pet store. You can contact the British Hamster Association and they can probably refer you to a nearby breeder.

a 10 gallon aqurium is an truly good cage for all hamsters! it has a lot of room, and not in any respect areas contained in the walls to flee from! Plus that's more inexpensive and extra reachable to sparkling. (the slippery walls are get away evidence!)
