I'm pretty confused. I'm not sure if I ovulate, I didn't have a period for a year possibly longer then my doctor tried the progesteron challenge on me and after 3 days of stopping the provera I got a period again finally, I took 10mg for seven days...My doctor told me to use progesterone cream every month, I have had several miscarriages most likely due to low progesterone. Anyways my husband and I would like to try to conceive sometime soon and I'm thinking this cream can help however i'm not exactly sure when to use it in my cycle cuz I do not know if or when i ovulate, when would be a good time in my cycle start the prgesterone cream and how many days or so should i use it for, I do not want this cream interferring with my possible ovulation would like to use it close to around the time i should get my period but i'm very irregular and i'm trying to regulate so i have it each month. will progesterone cream help with my ovulation and when should i use it. help please

I was having problems with my period too, and it turned out that I have PCOS.

Have you asked your doctor about? If not, then you should.

My doctor gave me Metformin, and it controlled my periods, and was able to get pregnant after a month of taking it.

Good Luck !

Have you read "Taking Charge of Your Fertility" by Toni Weschler? I highly recommend it to anyone trying to get pregnant or avoid pregnancy. It helped me understand my cycle better and could help you determine when you ovulate in order to take the porgesterone cream. Good luck!
