... to constantly ask redundant or inane questions? Is it so hard to think of questions that do not always say the same thing or are part of the same topic. Really, it is boring and annoying. Does anyone else think this?

I agree, because of the foolishness I stayed off Yahoo answers for a long time, I got sick of people not being serious and getting dumb responses to serious questions I was asking...

Hey, cutie, just relax a minute. There are so many different personalities on here, of course there are going to be questions that seem annoying. Not everyone thinks alike or has the exact same sense of humor. But that's what makes it fun.

It doesn't bother me if a question has substance or not, or if it's repeated or not. We all repeat ourselves and how many questions are there in the world that have not been asked before? This is merely a form of entertainment to most. Just my opinion.

I completely agree. The majority of the questions and answers I see are either ignorant or just plain dumb. i.e. I see people asking if they are pregnant....well go to the doctor or take a test, don't get on yahoo answers.

I think that some people do it just out of fun- i really dont think they WANT to know the answer. I dont mind as long as they arent mean or hateful....
Some do post though because they simply havent seen that others have already asked the question.
I think what is harder though is for people to come up with MEANINGFUL answers... instead of I dont know, or thanks for the 2 points....
yes its annoying.

I'm actually surprised they haven't closed this down by now. There is only 1 in 100 questions that turns out to be a legit question.

I find some of the questions a little milder than others... but then, I have also asked a number of really dumb questions... maybe just to see how people react to them.

They do for the laughs. People who respond usually get their panties in a twist over the question and it's funny to see all the hysterical answers.
