Do BMW 2000 323i seats fit a 1996 328is?

I have ripped front seats and looking at replacing them with 323i seats. Does anyone know if these would fit or need some modification?

They would fit as they are because both have same space
but the exterior varies a little
otherwise it doesn't make any change
