I'm considering signing up as i've seen BBC television clip justifing it and i can't really afford a new console being a student. One of the sites i am referring to is http://ps3.real-incentives.com/?referral... which i got from someones ebay page. Have a look at the BBC link http://news.bbc.co.uk/media/video/401010... SO what do you think? I just wish i had graduated already and earning money to buy one outright but that just isn't an option.

Well you usually have to get so many people to sign up before you get the console. Do you have the time to be convincing people to sign up when many people believe it to be a scam? Also should you really be needing a game console whilst you are a student? I think you should be concentrating on your studies, not playing games!! But if you really want one, why not have a look on ebay - you can them there for relatively cheap!

Many of the sites are legitamite, but require that you purchase subscriptions or services that sometimes end up costing more than the PS3 itself - not to mention that the wait to receive the console is often six or eight months or more. That fact, combined with the fact that there are SO many similar sites out there that are completely fraudulent, has always prevented me from signing up.

i've come across a lot of these sites, they all want you to sign up to so many different offers and then refer so many people to do the same before you get it. I've found out the the more expensive the so called free gift is the more offers you have to do and more friends you have to sign up aswell. It could be anything like 20 offers and 10 friends

From my experiences, these sites are usually just spam. In order for them to work, they usually require you to fill out multiple orders for credit cards or online membeships. Also, you might need to have a friend give information that they were recommened the site by you. A lot of these sites are just ways for internet sites to find new e-mail addresses to send advertisements to.
