Do you think by the description that I can be a model?

Question

I am a girl, about 5'10, 140 pounds, straight/ curly brown/blonde hair. You can be rational i want the truth.

well u see u dont give enoughdescription for all we know u could like be really ugly well not saying u are cuz i dont know u but u see u could e like the prettiest girl anyone will ever see and people would say no cuz we dont know what u look like

Beth, you can be anything you want to be, it's not a matter of if, but how much do you want it? How much passion do you have to pursue your dream? How much courage do you have to explore the unknown? How much do you believe in yourself? Are you dead serious about it; is this something that you want more than anything else for yourself right now? Is the simple thought of not being able to do this making you feel sick? Is watching other models in the magazines causing you pain? Do you say to yourelf:"Gosh that could be me? I could do this!" How serious you are about it it's the most important thing right now for you.
If I was you (and I was in a way ten years ago when I was modeling) I wouldn't obsess too much with the looks. Looks are very subjective. You cannot ever please everybody with the way you look, even if you're a model, and the best thing is that you shouldn't even have to try. It's irrelevant. What really matters is how you present yourself; are you confident with whom you are, are you comfortable in your own body? This will show in the aura around you, and even if you're looks may be not as conventional as somebody would like; it doesn't matter. You wouldn't be the first model with unconventional looks, that's for sure. In some cases those girls with unusual looks work indeed more than the traditional looking models.
It's your character that counts more than anything else, it really is.

When I tried to be a model I was 5'9 and 130 pounds and I was said to be to full figured. There is more to modeling than size though. You have to have the attitude and the mind set to deal with all the constant criticism. I was very good at the runway work and was told if I lost a lot of weight I could pursue it, but chose health and my dignity!!!

Well yeah, u sound like u could. Ur tall enough. But ur weight is a issue. If u wanna be a runway model they are going to tell u to loose weight. They did with me im 6 and 154 pounds. i lost it but wasn't happy. I did it for a few years and dropped it. i say if u are trying to pursue it, go for it, u might like it more than i did. good luck.

Yes! anybody can be a model but usually taller people (5'7-5'11) your the perfect height most models are 5'10 the dress size is usually 4

It takes more than that to be a model. I would say dont ask strangers or make yourself vunerable by asking such a question. If you want something and can handle the truth, then go get it

It depends, what kind of model do you want to be. If you want to be a runway model, then no, because runway models are usually really tall and weigh absolutely nothing. If you want to be a ambercrombie model i.e. sure.

You can be as tall and thin as you want, but we still dont know what you look like. YOu could be really ugly for all we know.
