It's the American way! It really sucks. The more we have the more we want. I got a new position so I made more money so I needed new clothes for my new status and a new car and so on and so on.......

With the more money you earn, the more money you have to spend. With spending, you accrue more bills. People that have low amounts of income are more likely to save their money and not spend it on frivolous items than those that make large salaries.

Because the more we earn the more we spend! It's how we end up living pay check to pay check every week. We can't seem to save any raise we get in pay.

Because your mind is very quick. You can constantly think of new ways to spend money. Unfortunately, our ability to earn it is not as fast.

Because the more you make the more you spend.

However - it's better to not use those credit cards - pay them off and pay cash for stuff - at least then you're not pissing away money on interest :)

This is a generalization, yes, but generally true nonetheless.
People who are careful with their money and are not rich are called frugal.
People who are careful with their money and are rich are called misers.
People don't like being called miserly or stingy.

often a person raises their standard of living,,, and acquires more bills, it is possible to do this without adding bills, if you simply save up for things

Because .... the more you want and the more you buy or spend. You just can't satisfy that need of want. Even billionaires still have wants. part of life I guess.

Because the More you have, the more you will buy and use up on products, electricity. Just because you make more doesn't mean that you have to BUY more.
