Try taking a look at this page - http://www.arba.net/
You can see a list of registered rabbitries and also see some other cool stuff. If you're looking to buy one to show then I'd make sure you stick with a breeder that's registered or someone that you know has won a lot and has solid breeding lines. If you're just looking for one as a pet, I would ask breeders if they have any culls...some are willing to just give them to you. We sell ours for $10. I don't know of any mini lop breeder's personally, but I'm sure you can find someone! Good Luck!

1. You should get a Holland Lop, they are the best rabbits that I have ever had
2. UInless you plan on breeding or showing rabbits, you should get it from a shelter. Rabbits are th 3rd most popular animal in shelters, after dogs and cats.

The best place to get a rabbit is from a breeder. Depending on where you live you can find them in the phonebook, the internet, or at a state fair. good luck.

Try your local humane society before you buy. There are so many homeless pets. I adopted rabbits from www.petfinder.com but I don't know if they have a version in your area.
