You keep them in their own little "house" that you have made for them.
In other words, they are casual friends you probably enjoy doing things with but who you would not confide in and tell your deepest, darkess secrets.

just let them go. maybe they are a loner, like me. i much rather being alone and unbothered by others most of the time. some people just like quiet alone time ALL the time. sounds weird, but its just a preference- doesnt make them odd or anything.

can't keep someone who isn't already your friend.. but if they are just associates after some time they.. can become more...friendship takes time
