Try Planned Parenthood or your local community clinic for free/low cost birth control.
As for your periods, if you go on the pill, you'll still get your period, but it will be like clockwork. This will be the same for the patch and ring as well.
There is a pill variety called Seasonale - it makes it so you have a period only 4 times a year.
The shot stops periods for many women - some immediately, many within 12 months.

You can look up family planning in the phone book and they will help you with what you need. As far as you not having a period any more, you will still have it. There is a new pill out that you can just have 4 periods per year. I don't recommend it though, your body is designed to have a period. Be sure that if you go on the pill to take it like your are told because you can still get pregnant if you don't take it the way it is intended. If you miss a pill take it as soon as you remember and if you are going to have intercourse you may want to use an extra source of birth control like condoms. The family planning center will give you all you need. Don't be shy with them they will answer all your questions.

You will take a birth control pill every day but for a week they are placebos (sugar pills) and this will cause you to get a period. Depending on the rules of your state, you may be able to get them without an adult. I would recommend that you google planned parent hood and check out their website since they have all the answers to that stuff on there.
Would case senario just tell you mom that you are having bad cramps and lots of bleeding during your period and a friend at school said that the pill would regulate this. People don't take them all the time for sex, they have other benifits as well.

Depends on the type of birth control. I am on the Depo Vera shot and I have not had one since 2001 after the birth of my daughter. When I was on the pill I still had a period.

it depends which birth control. a normal oestrogen-progesterone pill will not stop your periods unless you take one pack after the other with no break. a 3 year implant has a good chance of stopping your periods completely or at least making them lighter, as does an iud (coil). you can get birth control from a family planning clinic- they are not allowed to tell your mom.

You will continue to have periods. Anyone can buy condoms. Pills are more convenient, but you have to see a doctor, get a prescription, and get it filled.
