oxyclean to wash and go back over the floor you used the shampoo on with water mixed with a little white vinegar. the shampoo leaves residue and the vinegar water helps it rinse clean and the carpet stays cleaner looking longer. but after that never buy shampoo...always a big bucket of oxyclean, and rinse with the vinegar water.

I wouldnt add qxyclean now that you've run out, it'd most likely make the uncleaned carpet lighter or cleaner than what you've already cleaned. You'll have to go get more cleaner!!! Follow directions always ! Maybe a neighbor has some -- I've got some in my cabinet!

regrettably there won't be yet another decision. dogs ph stages are so distinctive than people that our shampoo will worsen their dermis... dish cleansing soap and laundry cleansing soap are too harsh too... :( its basically a three day anticipate delivery tho... till the dogs have been given into some thing extremely rank it is going to no longer be too poor to allow him wait. as quickly as we've been given our puppy we offered a bottle of centred puppy shampoo... u mixture it a million:8 with water... i think of we are able to nevertheless be engaged on that bottle while the dogs is long long gone!

I always use "Mean Green". I get it from Dollar General for 5 dollars for a huge jug. It has many uses and capet cleaning is one. It also cleans grout in floor tiles like new. It's really good stuff.

Windex, Simple Green, Cinch all work fine on my light beige carpet. Shampoo is too sudsy anyway and then you have suds to rinse and rinse and rinse.

Make sure not to use any regular household cleanser as it can suds up terribly. I typically use REALLY hot water and a few scoops of OXY Clean, and a few teaspoons of lemon extract.
Works wonders!

I like Tiffany D's answer. By the time you check all these answers out you could have cleaned the carpet more than once.
