oh please. that is totally up to the woman. to suggest it's an obligation in trade would make that situation "payment" for coming to see her. which would make her a whore.
that is asinine!

No there is never an obligation for sex. Just because you are traveling to meet someone, going on a date with someone, or any other reason. You never should feel obligated for sex. If you don't want to have sex then don't and if they person is pressuring you then you know better not to travel a far distance again to see them.

Here's my story. I met my (now husband) back in 1999 on the Internet. He lived 1,400 miles away from me. We talked for months on the phone and computer before we met in person. He flew in and we did have sex the first night, but it wasn't like we were strangers, not really. I didn't feel like I had an obligation though. It was just something we both wanted, bad. We had been anticipating this for a long time. He never went back home. Has been here since. We got married 1 year later to the date of him moving here. We've been so happy together.

Well... you should NEVER be obligated to have sex with anyone! But as a guy, I'll tell you one thing: if I went out of my way, a very far distance to see a girl, and we didn't do anything, I'd probably never talk to her again. The time I spent going and seeing her, I could've been doing something (or someone) else.
In other words, if you don't wanna be with the guy, just tell him he ain't gettin' any, and the ball will be on HIS court. If he doesn't wanna see you, it was never meant to be.

I would think something like that would be discussed before actually meeting, especially if you were meeting your "of age" person and they lived a long ways away. One has to ask though, if your only in it for sex, can't you find someone local. If you not in it for sex, then letting thngs happen as they may might just be the best bet.

You do not have an obligation to do anything. It's your body, and if he chooses to travel to see you just for sex, then he is not worth it. Don't do anything stupid. I would hope that he is only traveling to see you and talk to you in person, not to have sex. Get to know him first, then decide.

Yeah sure.
I like to travel a thousand miles to just have coffee.
You know... because the coffee may taste better a 1000 miles away and all.

Awesome question. I wouldn't expect anything to happen. But I wouldn't complain if it did. It really depends on how well you communicate with each other before you meet.
