Tell me about yourself.

What is your greatest achievement - THIS IS THE TIME TO BRAG!!! - but don't ever lie!
- worked my way through college
- was on the (debate or whatever) team
- worked well with others
- have an excellent driving record
- got the following awards
- I know "about Cingular" the following - and do some research about the corporation - which just partnered with AT&%
- I have additional computer and other technical abilities - that are far above average.
- I willingly accept challenges.
- I look at company problems as challenges for me to offer my help and teamwork skills (which are - - )
- I would be a great asset to your corporation - because I've learned much about Cingular and look forward to the opportunities presented (which are if you know if different jobs there).
- I rarely take "it can't be done" as a final answer, and I don't give up trying.
- I'm a very quick learner.

What is your not so great part of your life -
- I wasn't born rich, so I learned a good, solid work ethic.
- I had to leave my great friends from high school to go to college
- I became more technically inclined than my friends so many times they leaned on my knowledge instead of helping themselves - but I helped them anyway.
- I didn't win the lottery - so I developed a good work and saving ethic.
- I had to leave my new friends from that college town in order to secure a fantastic CAREER OPPORTUNITY,
but we will still stay in touch and compare career challenges.

GOD bless.

Any interview would contain few generic questions like, ' Tell us about yourself' and then ' Tell us about your most recent job experience' and then they might want to know if you have basic understanding of how a wireless company works such as cingular. I would recommend you do a little research on Cingular before the interview so that you can impress them.. that you are well informed and smart.

Good Luck.

One question that almost always comes up is:

Tell me about a time when you were involved in a disagreement with someone and how did you handle it? (I would be shocked if they didn't ask this)

Other things they will be looking for are:
-If you are capable of making decisions on your own.
-They will want to know that you are confident (this is a must for leadership - but not cocky)
-They will want someone that is eager to learn. Someone that would like to learn about their corporate culture, policies and procedures (this lets them know you won't be a maverick - but will uphold their policies).
-Be a good listener (keep comfortable eye contact) and also ask questions!

Be confident and just go for it!
