I walk the streets at night as the moon reflects off of the dew moistened asphalt. This concrete jungle; this place of concrete and wires. I still love even though everything is so cold. I am surrounded by people yet my heart is lonely. I cry on the inside.

Philosophy means Love of Wisdom and wisdom is Common Sense.

So one must know WHAT, what things are, to name them. But then we find that we can only learn constantly, always learning something else, and more and more, but we never seem to be able to fathom the whole thing, to know. On the other hand, the only way to "know", rather learn, in this context, is by means of comparison. We learn about High only because of Low, cold/hot, up/down, etc.

In other words, it is not about knowing but about sensing. If we cannot perceive or sense heat, or "not know", then we cannot learn about cold.

Summing up; Philosophy or the Love of Wisdom has nothing to do with knowing, but with sensing. That's why it is "I know not".

Common Sense, not Common knowledge.
