No our ancesters did not kill jesus, but our ancesters in sin did - though his mission was to die all along for how else could one save all peaple but with the perfect person. Jesus is speaks clearly against violence in any sort as it does no good, if peaple are oppressed and god is angry he will pass the offending nations over to their enemies and they will destroy each other

No, the Romans killed him like 2000 years ago. And yes, we have changed. Our grasp on christian values are slipping a bit. For instance, christian women are remarrying even after being commanded not to, catholic are saying it's allright for soldiers to kill, which it's not.
