looking to see if the is a way to go the the academy awards.( actually sit down indside, not yell and scream like an idiot outside) Is there special tickets? Can i volunteer to do something at the event? Thanks?

My in-laws have gone for 2 years in a row now. My (step) Father in Laws son had a nomination so I think you gotta know people to get in.

With the Oscars you pretty much need to be invited somehow. It is the creme de la creme of Hollywood. I mean there are ways to attend the Grammy's and AMA awards but if you aren't of the acting community ( directing, producing, art whatever else ) you are pretty much out of luck.

Be involved in a movie. Even then it is really hard to get in. Mostly only people that have been nominated get in. Tough!!! But follow your dream!!!
