Telling a co-worker that they have a strong body odor (stink) without hurting their feelings or coming off as being mean?

Well if you don't really know him/her you could tell them in a polite way but i would just try and avoid them...I'm close to all of my coworkers and I could straight tell them they all stink but I stink too ...

Drip a few drops of perfume near them before they get there and ask them "Do you smell that?" That may be an opening to gently let them know something isn't quite right. Hope it helps.

I would act like it was a secret between the two of you only
"Pssst.........I think your deo just gave up on you. Shhhhh" whisper it only and act secretive and hopefully she will be embarrased enough to show up the next day with some on!

but to temp. fix the prob you could bring up a convorsation about this great new soap..perfume/or cologne you tried and suggest it to them tell them how much you liked it and you bet they would as well
or deoderant thatd be good

talk to your supervisor and ask her to do it.
A long time ago when I worked as an assistant mgr at BK this was part of my job to do that. It SUCKED! And, alas, it NEVER helped.

owww dam...thats tough!! bring deoderant and leave it on the desk???...no too childish ~~~ how about the direct approch ? maybe they dont relize they are being offensive? good luck with that.

if they have a locker hang soap on a rope on the handle if they have an office hang it on the door...you get the picture

or slip a note on their desk while they arent looking.
