STD's -educate the children. Teen pregnancy - educate the children. Racism - educate people. Sexism- educate people. Is it not possible that a man might understand something completely and still hate it; or even hate something because of an understanding that he's come to?

There are several forms of eduction, one would be about a thing and another would be how you should think and act towards a thing. The first could lead to full understanding and still hating something.

Education might be an overused, pat answer, but it still would help immensely in solving many of these issues.

In the case of STD's, if you don't know STD's exist, how can you protect yourself? Education. Same for teen pregnancy. Same for sexism. It is possible that humans know that certain things are inherently wrong, like murder for instance, but humans are here to "learn"...otherwise, why have a public education system?

Knowledge is power!

An educated person with an intelligent mind would not hate someone based solely upon their sex and/or skin color. Racism and sexism are the products of someone who is closed minded and ignorant.

Education = the ability to make the right choices for yourself.
If after educating yourself on a subject you find you "hate" it, at least you're forming your own educated opinion rather than just blindly hating it (or loving it for that matter).

Because people have a tendency to fear or hate what they don't understand. Ignorance or lack of understanding will lead people into dangerous and often avoidable situations.

How many times have you, yourself or at least heard somebody else say, "If only I had known...?"

Hating knowledge for the sake of the knowledge is not a good thing.
