Each couple decide for themselves. It is an exprssion of mutual love as well as great pleasure....it is not an olympic event.

Who should dictate how often sex should be? Every couple goes through dry patches...sometimes one is tired, ill, hormonal, etc.
I think it depends on the sexual appetites of each couple and individual in the relationship. My ex was insatiable. He felt if we should have sex at least 3 to 4 times a week, no matter what was going on, and if we didn't he would get *poopy*.
In my current relationship, quality is more important than quantity and there is no set ideals as to how often we make love. Sometimes, there is nothing for 1 or 2 weeks, sometimes we are like jack rabbits 5+ times in a week.

I'd like to say 2 or 3 times a week, but most peoples reality is 2 or 3 times a MONTH (and this is one of major causes of break-ups, when the deprived partner seeks satisfaction elsewhere).
I think the longer you are together the more the frequency drops.

I don't see anything wrong with haveing intercourse 7 days a week. As long you both enjoy each other. Go for it. But in a realistic world probably 3 times a week ;)

it's really down to each others preference - one may prefer it more than the other, so you gotta compromise. If the frequency has changed recently then there may be underlying problems, like stress or something. If the frequency's bothering either of you, you have to talk about it.

How many raindrops have landed on you hand? how long is a piece of string? No two people are going to need sex the same amount of times per week. Experiment. See how often is comfortable for both of you ;)

From a mans point of veiw, i'd say 3-4, women would probably say 3-4 times a year.

at least once a day is healthy . do you ask this question because you are only having it once a year and you don't know if it is normal - well its NOT! I'm sorry to say that you do not have a healthy relationship Ohhhh poor you!
