If you feel you are losing your diginty by picking up loose change dont do it.Or you can go on and not care what people think and do it. I guess it just depends on where you are. In a nice resturant for instance, no I would not. Change in a grocery store yes, why not. It's all about timing and self discretion.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with picking lose change that's on the floor. All those pennies and nickles add up to dollars, just put them in a jar and when you have a large amount saved take the money to your bank or a coin changer machine in your grocery store. You'll be surprised how much money you can save this way. It does not mean you're losing your dignity, it means you're smart and a good saver.

Well everybody doe's not like to be looked on as a cheapskate, but pick it up ,save it in a jar just for that sake of might be embarrassing,And one day give it to a homeless man or woman.Your dignity won't matter you'll feel proud of yourself and the Lord will be watching you ,thats all that matters.Peace Victorio

I used to clean a bar and I would make about 7 to 10 dollars a week from the change. It all adds up.

Sometimes I do, sometimes I don't. It depends on whether I am broke at the time, or if I want to leave the coins for someone else who may need them.
