Im a big ND fan. Just being mentioned with Brady Quinn, who will dominate in the pros, is an honor. Jimmy Clausen will be better though. I hate to say it because im a big Quinn fan, but Quinn only had 2 years under Weis and look what he diid. Clausen is a better player than Quinn when he came out of High School and is goin to get at least 3 years undre Weis. He may be one of the best in NCAA history. Weis can work miracles look what he did to Tom Brady a 6th round pick, and Brady Quinn a struggling QB turned into the best QB in the NCAA this year. He will make Clausen extra special. Plus in 2 or 3 years he will be surrounded be tremendous talent. He will be great .

No one knows. Ron Pawlus (sp) was rated as the best college QB in the nation and at his career @ ND he was a huge bust and he never made it in the NFL.

Let him play a year before you go crazy on Clausen. Clausen is also super arrogant and has a lot of growing up to do.

yes they all have been qb's but they all sucked and that is why they were never in the league. Jimmy is better than his bros because he has had a qb coach since he was like 10. the same one as leinert and palmer, but clausen will be a bust. He can't read a descent high school defense and he played inferior competition in high school. the two toughest games he played he had two weeks to prepare and one he threw 4 ints.

I think Clausen will be better bcuz of his family. His brothers and his dad have been college QB's

I think he will be.

This says it all:

"Overall, as a starter, Brady Quinn was 29-17 (.630) against all opponents and 13-15 (.460) against teams that finished the year with non-losing records"

There's much room for improvement.

That wouldn't be a very big accomplishment. All he would have to do is beat someone other than a service academy.
