Can you use any memory card to store virtual console downloads, music, and photos on the wii? I want to be able to make a slide show with my own music. Can that be done? Plus I want to download mario cart and other games and save them on the memory card and not the 512mb hard drive. thanks

You can use any SD memory cards. Any brand is fine; I use a Sandisk brand card. If you have a "mini" or "micro" SD card you will need an adapter.

The Wii can access several picture formats if they are saved on an SD card.

at the beginning, there is not any Wii memory enjoying cards... they are in simple terms undeniable SD enjoying cards... 2d, you may with maximum video games... assuming you adjust to here: a million) the interest would not have any on line multiplayer content cloth (which makes them replica-secure). 2) The Wii you elect to repeat the gamesave information has performed the interest a minimum of as quickly as already. 3) you need to delete the previous gamesave record on the Wii in the previous copying from the SD card. in case you purely persist with those 3 regulations, you need to be ok!
