a guy to hang out with you. My friend likes this guy and she wants to get to know him better to see if there is any thing to it but she doesn't know how without sounding too forward, I couldn't help her, can you?

How does she know him? Does she see him daily? Tell her to strike up little conversations with him first. Once she finds out something they have in common (or a place to eat), simply have her say, "oh I love it there! we should go some time!," or "really? I've never been," depending on what it is. The key is though, make it friendly like you're asking a gal pal to dinner. I have lots of guy friends and I always say thinks like, "hey, you said you liked sushi, I know this awesome place you should try. what are you doing next saturday?" What I've noticed (and the cool thing for your friend is), if he's into her, he'll see it as a come-on. If he's not, he'll just see it as a friendly gesture.

get to know him a little and find out what he likes..
and if they have something in common just be like
" we should def do that together sometime "
and then get some friends together-
and be like me and my friends are doing this
wanna join?
if shes his friend there should be a problem
