There's so many I can't count but we've been married 29yrs in June. I must say though the one thing that touched my heart so deeply was when my Dad was fighting for his life. My husband stuck by him for 20 days till my Dad finally passed. My husband owns his own construction biz and this was a major sacrifice. For some reason my Dad felt more secure with my husband there, though my Mom and the rest of my siblings were there off and on. He would not let go of my husbands hand and my husband was the only one outside of my Mom that he would let help him use his urinal. Even when things went real bad and he was put in sicu Dad would still squeeze his hand when my husband would try to leave, though he wasn't reacting to anything else. My Dads actions has convinced me that I have a GREAT MAN that is strong, accountable, and totally dependable just like my Dad was. That is really a great thing that my husband did, not only for my Dad but for me too. He was there to hold both our hands till the end! He's still holding mine.

My first son was born premature at 29 weeks. After 3 days in the hospital, they sent ME home but my son stayed....I was devastated. At the time, I did not know if he would live or die or have continuous health issues. I felt like I was abandoning him by not bringing him home with me. How could I leave him there and not take care of him. Rationally I knew it was because he was in the NIC Unit and on life support but my body was screaming to hold him and protect him not LEAVE him.
When I got home from the hospital, my husband surprised me with a HUGE poster size collage of pictures of my son, me, and my huz and hung it on the wall at home. When I got home I cried and cried cuz I was so touched and of course I was emotional cuz of hormones from being pregnant and giving birth. :-)

I can't pick just one my husband is a pretty sweet guy but my one of my favorite things he does is that he will pick flowers from the garden and leave them on the counter with a sweet note for me to find when I walk in the door. Or when he comes home in the morning from night shifts he will bring me little presents or breakfast. I couldn't ask for anything better.

One timeseveral years ago, I was having a particulary bad day - I was depressed and taking care of 3 children under age 10. My husband came home with a bouquet of flowers to cheer me up and a take-out meal for the family.

He blind folded me once and he sat me in the car and took me all the way to Disney. When I walked into the hotel everything was set up for a nice romantic dinner. After we went to the theme parks and during the trip he took me to swim with the dolphins at Discovery Cove. He did this on our second anniversary.

Whenever he's in the woods he brings me flowers from the field. If there are no flowers he finds something interesting. He rubs my feet when I prop my leg up on his when we're on the couch. He gives the best bear hugs...you know the kind of back scratching ones...I'm sure there's more....

it was my birthday, the entire day my husbans sent me on a wild goose chase, every place he sent me was part of a day long joke... I was so angry with him.
To shorten a long story, he called me to meet him, we were suppose to go to dinner, we were ordering dinner when he said he didn't have money, and he couldn't find his wallet.
We went back home, when he went inside our home I stayed outside for a minute to cry Iccouldn't belive it. I walked inside, and everyone I knew, family members, co-workers,childhood friends was there shouting Happy Birthday. I cried for hours, he planned my birthdayfor 6 mos. I was so surprised. I get misty everytime I think about it.

When my husband wakes in the middle of the night he reaches for me just to tell me how much he loves me, kisses my back and to hold me for a few minutes, the goes back to sleep. It makes me smile everytime I think of it.
