Can accidently consuming mouse feces be fatal or very harmful?

I am afraid the answer is yes, Actually mouse feces can contain a very dangerous kind of viruses called Hantavirus, which if inhaled can cause serious pulmonary infection and can lead to death, now I am not sure if eating the feces is the same as inhaling the virus but you should be cautious and if the person who consumed it experience and shortness of breath you should seek medical help quickly. go to a hospital anyway.
