When I want to change my wardrobe I don't do it all at once. I buy a couple of shirts then throw out a couple of shirts. It's an equal exchange so you won't clutter your closet. After a while I do the same with pants or jeans. If you don't have the money for it right now, just use different accessories with the older outfits along with different shoes.

Try department stores. You can get fashionable clothes there that doesn't cost as much as the designer boutiques at the mall.

You can create several outfits with just buying three outfits, if you buy the right pieces and use them what you already have.
