Pretend someone is coming over and you are cleaning so it will look nice for them. Also play music and start out doing the easy stuff, and you will eventually get into it.
Plus just think how much worse it will look if you continue to wait, and then you will have even more to clean!!
And another good reason is because they say the way you keep your house is a reflection of your mental health and how you feel about yourself.
Good Clean House=Healthy Mind, good selfesteem.
Dirty Messy House= Mental Illness; Person with low self esteem.

How about rewarding yourself something special when you finish cleaning? Just put your mind to it. Think of it as a job that you get paid for. You start at this time and finish at that time just so you feel that it's not gonna take forever.

Don't think of it as cleaning the whole house. Just start with one room, & go from there is you can.

Plan a pleasant reward for yourself when it is finished. One thing that really helps me get started is to make a detailed list of what needs to be done. Mark things off as they are accomplished. This will help you see your accomplishment and keep you moving. Set small goals like "I want to accomplish-----by 2:00" then make yourself do it. It really helps.

Put on some music and just do it! Once you start, it won't take long. It's harder to worry over it than doing it!
