Ok I need some advice. I have 6 angel fish. Currently I also have a dozen mollies and an assortment of tetra neons, highfin tetras a cory cat and a placo. I have a 55 gal tank that is housing Gold fish. I am wanting to get rid of the gold fish or move them in to other tanks. My question is can I put the Mollies, neons, corycat and a placo in the 55 gal tank with the 6 angel fish or will i start losing fish? Will there be enough room in the 55 gal tank for all of those fish? Any advice would be help full. If you have a website that has compadibility lists for angels please list it.

i use the rule one fish per gallon. i have 40 fish in my 55 gallon and its not overstocked i clean it once every 2 weeks in fact and even then its still not cloudy yet. as for the angel fish with the other-putting them together will work as long as theyre all around the same size so they grow together and get comfy with one another while doing so. if you have a school of each other kind of fish its not likely agression will arise cause theyll all feel outnumbered and not want to be attacked by a school for attacking one. i keep all my fish in schools when need be. my mollies, korydoras, cat fish, red finned sharks, iridescent sharks, bala sharks, tiger barbs, gouramis and red eye tetras stay in schools. sharks, cats and gouramis dont have to be schooled but again no aggression arises if theres an even number of each. mollies stay small so having 12 is fine theyre non aggressive anyways. angelfish are aggressive eaters and wait for you at the top of the tank at feeding time im sure so just make sure your other fish are getting an ample amount of food and you should be ok. if your angelfish is territorial he will go after any fish who comes into it so change around your decor and all fish will find new territories and so the aggression will stop. their mainly only territorial while breeding though. remember angelfish prefer taller tanks due to their body shape. they get up to about 6 inches and live 8-10 years which is more than most fish so try to accomodate their needs more so than the others since likely theyll be around longer. hope this helps.

The angels will eat the tetras, but the pleco, cory, and mollies should be okay with the angels. If your mollies are breeders, the angels will LOVE the fry.

Once your angels grow to adult size, you'll need to move out the mollies in a 55g, leaving only the angels, cory, and pleco.

Angels are chiclid genus and can grow to be particularly vast meaty fish if given the remarkable 'putting' they may be territorial so your concept of 'purchase extra' might desire to artwork yet on condition that your making plans to enhance to an even bigger tank sometime quickly, otherwise it would desire to calm for a time until eventually the fish commence turning out to be (as they are going to)

Sorry to say it, but that 55 gallon would be way over crowded with that list of fish and you most likely would start losing fish pretty soon.
