I have 2 wiimotes. with the first one, i turned the console on, but after that it would not do anything. every time i pressed a button, the four blue lights at the bottom would flash. so I tried changing the batteries, and it didn't help. I tried turning the wii off and starting over... nothing. so i tried the 2nd wiimote, and it is doing the same thing, just flashing when i press any buttons... what's going on???

follow this step by step. i promise it will work. turn the wii off manually. now turn it on manually. wait till you get to the black screen that says press a. open the little compartment on the front of the wii. its where the memory card goes. there is a red button in there. press and hold it for 30 seconds. then let go. after a few seconds it should progress to the next screen all by itself. now take the back of the battery case off the controller. there is a red button there. press it just once. then press the red button on the wii itself again. it should recogonize your remote. to do the second one just press the button on the back of the controller then the console. you dont have to hold the one in again. just do that once. i hope i helped
