I recently read that there are 100 million intercourses a day in the world. However, in another place I also came across a figure that there are about 20 million prostitutes worldwide. Somehow, the two don't seem to go together too well.
Does anybody of you have a clue where these numbers come from or other figures?

wow... if there's 100 million intercourses, there has to be like...... 1 billion "self-involved" activities...
I think those numbers came out of someone's butt... no pun intended.

there just a rough estimate no one can say for sure that's true. besides who was sad enough to calculate this any way and think about it how can they get that sort of figure? do they go round and knock on peoples doors or phone people and ask if they are having sex?
