Some designer bags can cost well in excess of £1,500. Is any bag really worth this much money? If so, what bag or bags?

Personally I want more money IN my bag than spending ON my bag. I actually feel sorry for people who spend money like that on a bag...it does not make you more important, and if it makes you feel more important I think they need to re-evaluate their own lives. What would make you feel better, spending 500.00 on a handbag, or donating 500.00 to a good cause like a children's shelter?

when you ask this question you have already made up your mind that some bags are worth four figure sums but it is really up to you what bag you are willing pay that for

I have spent "much" money on bags, but never 4 figures... I don't think there worth it, usually after one season there dated and no longer "in" anyway...
The majority of the people who do spend that much, have the money to spend, so for them it's not a big deal!

If I had lots of money I would definitely splurge on handbags.
Right now I am looking forward to getting a Gucci bag...it's just beautiful!!

If your rich go ahead but you can find really cute bags at department stores for like $50. I got one at Nine West for $30 & it is super cute so I would definelty say NO!

Chanel Handbags run from $500-3,000! And if you have the money, some would say it's worth it.

its all in the eye of the beholder. i dont use them personally so i dont see the need to spend that much on something that i wont use anyway
