Many years ago whilst working at a large airfield in the south of england i was given a valuable piece of advice which i have tried to adhere to ever since.
"Before you embark on any course of action, think of the worst that can happen. If you can live with that scenario then carry on and have no regrets."

Driving instructor pulling me up for speeding.Said far better be 5 mins late in this world,as 5 mins early for the next one.Never forgot that.

From my mom: "Doubt means don't" If you have doubt about something then it is probably your intuition telling you not do do it. Think really hard before making a major decision if you have any doubt at all.

I used to feel really bad about asking the doctor questions about my baby because I thought they might be stupid.. Until she told me that I was the baby's only advocate.
