MVP: Gilbert Arenas (His team is a lottery team, if he isn't on it.)
MIP: Josh Howard (He went from being an unknown to being an All-Star.)
DPOY: Dwayne Wade (Nobody ever mentions his great defense, but he is a ball hawk. He has tons of steals, but what is more impressive is, he has a ton of blocks.)
ROTY: Brandon Roy right now, but Bart in Toronto is putting up a good fight.

MVP: Gilbert Arenas. He is the core of the multi-talented Washington Wizards. Even with Caron Butler and Antawn Jamison, the Wizards would be lost without him.
Most Improved: Barbosa. Being a back-up for steve nash and scoring 16 points? Hes unbelieveavle. Hes fast, can score, and grew up in an enviornment no other NBA star grew up in. My fall-back option for this pick has to be Carlos Boozer.
Defensive: Marion. Hes a monster on the boards while standing at only 6'7, 230. He has daily assignments against the best players in the league at almost every position, ranging from Sam Cassel and Allen Iverson to Pau Gasol and Chris Bosh.
Rookie of the Year: Andrea Bargnani. The kid is incredible and has the most finesse I've ever seen for a big man since Dirk Nowitkzi. His shot is silky smooth, he can post, and he can drive by any other big-man-rookie. His rebounding will improve, and I say that he will be the next Dirk. Trust me on this one.

MVP - Steve Nash, no doubt. He's scoring better this year and has the same number of assists while keeping his team near the top of the standings.

Most Improved - Kevin Martin, guy has just shown he can do it all. If he gets on a slump, Id pick Utah's Deron Williams.

DPOY - Dwight Howard/Tim Duncan. Howard is averaging 12 RPG and about near 2 BPG, and Duncan has been averaging 10 and 2. The Magic and the Spurs are in the top 5 defensive teams in the league.

ROY - Brandon Roy, guy's been consistent, and Portland's not doing bad preferred to last season either. Morrison has accomplished neither.

Sixth Man - Ben Gordon, guy is amazing.

1st team All-NBA: Nash, Bryant, Nowitzki, James, Yao
2nd team All-NBA: Wade, Arenas, Duncan, Garnett, Howard

1st team All-Defensive: Artest, Bowen, Duncan, Howard, Wallace

MVP: Dirk or Nash, both teams and players are amazing, who's record is better at the end wil get MVP
Most Improved: Kevin Martin averaging 21 points, 5 rebounds, and 35 minutes a game, that 11 more minutes than last year. I would throw J-Howard in there and dotn forget about Boozer but its proably going to be K-Mart.
Defensive - Camby or Okafor...leaning towards Okafor
Rookie- They all suck but the one that sucks the least is Brandon Roy.

Gilbert Arenas for MVP? If Kobe didnt win it last year with 81 pts in 1 game then there is no way in hell Arenas is gonna win it. I see a possibility of him winning it if he does well in the playoffs and takes the Wizards to the finals, but thats not going to happen. And its funny how everyone says that without Arenas the Wizards would be nothing, because so would the Heat without Wade, so would the Lakers without Kobe, so would the Suns without Nash, so would the Mavs without Dirk. Put Wade, Kobe, or Nash on the Wizards in place of Arenas the Wizards could do even better. Same thing goes for every other player mentioned as candidates. But out of all of them, Nash is the best fit for being the MVP--Phoenix is gonna win it all this year.

MVP - Gilbert Arenas. Without him, the Wizards are nothing, and he's one of the best all around players in the league right now.

Most Improved Player - Allen Iverson. As great as he is, he's even better now that he's surrounded by so much talent, and he's finally learned how to pass the ball.

Defensive Player - Dwayne Wade. I guess The Glove Gary Payton is starting to rub off on him.

Rookie of the Year - Can't call it yet. We'll see what happens.

I have a list of them:
MVP-Kobe, Gilbert, Steve Nash, Kevin Garnett(his team is hopeless without him)
Most Improve- Luke Walton or kevin Martin(improved his game, went from unkown to being on the spotlight for the kings.
DPOY- Marcus Camby(leads league in block) Ron Artest, Okefor, Josh Smith( as a SF he is averaging 2.7 blocks and 1.6 per game with 7.7 rebounds, he’s also best defender on his team and always on highlight for his brutal blocks).
Rookie of the Year- Brandon Roy(he showing his talent and leadership for a struggling portland trailblazer. He will become #2 leader, option , and scorer after Zack Randolph.
