First, go to a hairstylist! Do not perform a hair dye job on yourself, especially when you have so many colors in your hair. I would go to a professional and ask his/her advice. I would go back to your natural color. The hairstylist would probably have to bleach or strip your hair to get the red and black out then put a brown on the top to match your natural hair color. If you want to go black, just ask the stylist to dye it black, but then you will get roots. Best bet? Go back to brown!

Actually one all-over color is what's in right now. I'm a natural brunette and I have had my hair dyed for several years. I have 3 different colors in my hair right now...blonde, red, and my natural color. I'm about to go to 1 single color, that being my natural brown (or as close as I can get to it). That would take care of your root problem.

You can contact your local Salon for ways to color your hair without having your hair to become another 3 different shades of colors. You may have to let the color grow out for awhile.

Go for a dark chocolate brown, this will darken any color in your hair and get as close as possible to one color. If you choose black, just remember its a pain in the butt to get out.
